Joyce LandryCEOLandry and Kling

Joyce Landry is President & CEO of Miami-based Landry & Kling Global Cruise Events. She co-founded the company in 1982 as the first to specialize in corporate meetings, incentives, and events at sea. Landry & Kling manages corporate cruise programs, music festivals at sea, theme cruises, and dockside ship charters for global events and disaster relief.

Joyce has held positions on several cruise line advisory boards, and is considered a pioneer and thought leader in the industry.

Joyce is dedicated to leveraging her longstanding cruise line relationships and insider knowledge to develop the first site to focus on the sustainable practices of the cruise industry, SustainableShips.com. The site will be a resource for the growing market of corporate group buyers and consumers who are choosing travel experiences that are in line with their values.

As a lifelong, passionate environmentalist, Joyce is encouraged by the sustainable activities that are being implemented in the cruise industry, and her goal is to showcase the lines that are leading the way, with the help of advisors who are experts in the field of water quality, marine conservation, alternative fuels, recycled materials, and sustainable practices.

Joyce’s credentials include being named one of Top 25 Most Influential People in the Meetings Industry by Meeting News magazine. Joyce and her former business partner Jo Kling were also inducted into the Cruise Industry Hall of Fame, in recognition of their visionary role in the use of cruise ships as corporate meeting venues.

On a personal level, Joyce is currently on the board of trustees for Barry University in Miami, and a member of the International Women’s Forum, a global network of women chosen as leaders in their field. She is on the master women’s rowing team at the Miami Rowing Club, and an avid hiker. She most recently completed the 125km Camino Walk to Santiago de Compostela in Spain.
