Tim is a fairly tall, formerly athletic person newly responsible for the digital experience at Royal Caribbean Cruises, Ltd. This includes the product roadmap, strategy, user experience, design and development for the digital experience across Royal Caribbean International, Celebrity and Azamara cruise lines. Tim has consistently leveraged data to create innovative and engaging digital experiences that deliver measurable success...as well as a few bushels of awards (if you care about that sort of thing).
Prior to joining Royal Caribbean Tim was at the illustrious Walt Disney Company where he spent nearly 5 years at Parks & Resorts leading user experience & design for digital experiences across all Disney travel destinations, cruise lines and theme parks as well as programmatic creative, micro content and other opportunities where creativity intersects technology to drive business results.
Tim developed his early leadership skills while coaching volleyball at the High School, Club and Collegiate levels in San Diego. While coaching volleyball at night and running the art department of a silkscreen shop by day Tim married the love of his life (on a mountaintop in the Lagunas) and together they moved from San Diego to Hood River, Oregon where both his daughter and son (in that order) were born. In Hood River Tim worked for a boutique digital agency and quickly became the Creative Director working on action sport and outdoor consumer brands including Nike, Dakine, Smith Sport Optics, Smartwool, Cole Haan and Swiss Army. In Hood River Tim and his family enjoyed small town life and spent much of their time exploring the beautiful Columbia River Gorge. From Summit Projects Tim went to ZAAZ – a digital agency headquartered in Seattle, WA. While at ZAAZ Tim and his family lived on Bainbridge Island and again enjoyed the quiet of small town life but now had access to downtown Seattle, the Olympic peninsula and Puget Sound. When not exploring with his family Tim would savor the ferry commute into the ZAAZ offices where he and his creative team generated innovative and successful digital solutions across web, mobile and social media for clients like Audi, AT&T, Coke, Morgans Hotel Group, Microsoft, Converse, Tazo, Entertainment Weekly, CNN Money, Alaska Airlines, Façonnable and KB Home.
Tim is dedicated to his family who are all thoroughly enjoying the strange new land of Miami Beach and the South Florida area after having lived up and down the west coast, most recently in Los Angeles. He and his wife are devoted foodies, love the outdoors, and are working on their SUP skills. On a daily basis he is proud and thankful for his talented 19 year old daughter and 15year old son who are both as smart as they are funny.
