As Director of Cruise Market Development of the Québec Port Authority, Nancy Houley manages the improvement and growth of a robust cruise destination. In addition, she leads stakeholders and partner relationships ensuring cruise lines and their passengers have an outstanding experience.
Québec has an ambitious goal of welcoming 400,000 visitors a year by 2025 and establishing Québec as a leading year-round international cruise destination. The port has maintained steady growth year-over-year and is working towards sustainable growth as showcased in the Québec Global Forum which Nancy was instrumental in spearheading. Since 2014, the Québec cruise destination has come together to build this innovative, sustainable cruise development management model that unites representatives of the tourism and maritime industries, cruise companies, and citizens groups, as well as other members of the community.
Nancy joined the Port in 2012 and has over 20 years of marketing and business development with companies such as Starbucks and Google. She is VP of the Committee, at the Board of Directors of the St. Lawrence Cruise Association.
