Katharine Bonner is responsible for the strategic direction and the near and mid-term tactical planning for Tauck’s portfolio of river and small ship ocean cruises. Combined, the cruise portfolio under Bonner’s direction includes some three dozen itineraries visiting over 30 countries aboard nearly a dozen vessels, from award-winning European riverboats and yacht-like small cruise ships, to purpose-built expeditionary vessels and mid-sized ocean liners. In the past 5 years Tauck River Cruising has tripled in size.

In addition, Bonner also oversees the planning and production of all marketing materials supporting the full range of Tauck’s land and water-based product offerings.

An industry veteran with over twenty years of travel experience, Bonner joined Tauck in January of 2006. Immediately prior, Bonner served as Vice President, Marketing for Vantage Deluxe World Travel in Boston. Her past experience also includes executive-level positions at Saga International Holidays and AAA headquarters, where she led a major rebranding effort and managed co-branded sales and marketing activities for 20 key travel partners including Disney, Holland America, Hertz, and American Express.

Bonner attended Vassar College in Poughkeepsie, New York, and graduated from Wheaton College in Norton, Massachusetts with a BA in American Studies.
