This session looks at the wider ecosystem of the cruise industry and how a circular economy methodology can be applied and the benefits that can be gained for the environment and the wider ecosystem. A Circular Economy (CE) is an economic system with the aim of eliminating waste and the continual use of resources. Moving towards a circular economy in the cruise industry will reduce pressure on the environment and the depletion of raw materials, and stimulate innovation that boosts economic growth.
