Relief, Rebuild, Recover…How the Cruise Industry Reacts to Natural Disasters

Cruise ports have been hit hard by hurricanes in recent years with Hurricane Maria throughout the Caribbean, Hurricane Irma in Key West and most recently, Hurricane Dorian and the Bahamas. This panel discussion will focus on storm recovery and how aid is delivered. Our experts will discuss this topic through both a humanitarian and technical/logistics lens. The goal of the session is to have the audience leave with a better understanding of what happens when, and HOW TO BEST HELP the next time something like this occurs.
