A discussion addressing the lucrative subject of longer, more immersive pre-, post and overland tours. Cruise lines are focusing like never before on the importance of an authentic ‘before, during and after’ cruise travel experience. While not entirely a new trend or concept, there is definitely a new taste to today’s Pre/Post & Overland Tour portfolio as lines get onboard and fully embrace the subject of ‘Destination Awareness’.

What is apparent is that these tours are no longer limited to just a few days spent in the immediate environs of the embark/debark ports. On the contrary, forward thinking cruise lines are enabling passengers to explore like never before! The upshot of which is the abundance of opportunities for local stake holders and their partners.

Moderated by Liz Gammon, this session digs into the how’s and why’s destinations, ports and tour operators should look further, dig deeper and work together in order to embrace a symbiotic approach to the issue of longer land excursions.
