Jay Ryan, PM, Technical Security Applications, RiskBand

Jay Ryan has assumed the key role of Program Manager-Technical Security Applications for RiskBand. Jay is tasked with providing technical security program and project management, public safety product development, commercial and public safety sales engineering, and market and competitive intelligence analysis. He will have significant responsibility as we penetrate the military, security and public safety sectors. Jay, an avid technologist and futurist with an entrepreneurial spirit, has direct experience in the advancement of emerging technologies in the areas of radio frequency solutions, digital communications, advanced networking concepts, location-based technologies and digital security applications. As Founder and CEO of Alpha Research Solutions, Jay has focused on the critical technology transfer between emerging commercial and government-based technologies, particularly with the Emergency Management and Law Enforcement community with regard to wireless technologies, power solutions and location based technology. Jay's previous experience also involved the engineering and fielding of commercial GPS based location hardware and software to support military training range operations and safety and the engineering of wireless network deployment products for training range operations -- including Long Range Wi-Fi and multiple standalone cellular networks (2G GSM, 3G, CDMA, WiMax and 4G solutions). He also helped to support multiple government agencies including the National Security Agency, Joint Special Operations Command, United States Army Intelligence and Security Command and the United States Navy Space and Naval Warfare Center in the domain of Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (ISR). Jay was a proud member of the United States Marines where he received multiple awards for service distinction. He had direct experience in the fields of electronic warfare, signals intelligence and multi-domain intelligence analysis. He is a graduate of the Navy Cryptologic Schools, has studied at the American Military University for a Bachelor of Science in Information Technology Management and has taken multiple courses in Program Management Information Security, Cyber Security and Information Systems Management.
