Josh Leibowitz serves as Senior Vice President of Cunard North America and Chief Strategy Officer at Carnival Corporation, a global cruise company and one of the largest vacation companies in the world. Josh oversees corporate strategy for the company and is responsible for cross-company operations including: strategic sourcing, cross-brand marketing, revenue and yield management systems, business development, and voice of the guest insights. The company portfolio includes leading cruise brands Princess Cruises, AIDA, Holland America, Carnival Cruise Lines, Seabourn, Costa Cruises, P&O Cruises and Cunard.
Prior to joining Carnival, Josh was a Partner at McKinsey & Company, where he co-lead the big data, e-commerce, and multichannel operations practice for North America across travel/hospitality, retail, and consumer industries. In addition Josh served as Managing Partner of the Miami office. Before McKinsey, he held multiple operating roles. Josh was a Managing Director at idealab!, an innovation incubator that creates and operates pioneering technology companies, where he successfully led several e-commerce startups. Prior to that, he started and operated a wholesale and retail shoe business in Los Angeles.
Josh received an A.B. in economics from the University of Chicago, Phi Beta Kappa and holds an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School, with high distinction, Baker Scholar. Josh serves on the Board of Directors at Brauser Maimonides Academy. Prior to that, Josh served on the Board of Directors for Take Stock in Children, a non-profit organization and the Florida Council of 100.
