William HarberPresidentThe Americas, Hurtigruten

William (Bill) Harber is Hurtigruten’s President for the Americas charged with growth in the region as the world leader in exploration travel. Harber drives sales and profitability across the U.S., Canada, and Latin America and broadens and deepens trade relationships to open new channels for growth. He’s also tasked with increasing market share by ensuring effective marketing and communication strategies in collaboration with the company’s senior leadership team.

Mr. Harber has 25 years of experience, including 15 years in the cruise industry and 5 of these based in Asia. He was most recently Hurtigruten’s President, China & Asia-Pacific. He’s served as SVP & Managing Director Asia for Norwegian Cruise Line Holdings as well as Vice President, Market Development for Carnival Asia. As Vice President, Corporate Marketing, he worked globally across Carnival’s 10 cruise brands and commercial management teams.

Earlier in his career, Bill was a management consultant at A.T. Kearney and served as Director, Product Marketing for a technology start-up in Atlanta. He earned his MBA in Marketing Strategy from Emory’s Goizueta Business School and graduated from the Georgia Institute of Technology with a bachelor of Industrial & Systems Engineering. He currently resides in Seattle.
