John Paul has been VP Cruise & Marine Logistics for Savino Del Bene since 2013. He has always been a strong believer in identifying solutions under the Cruise Industry global supply chain that would create a positive impact on cost reduction and innovative operation processes to benefit the Cruise Lines/Suppliers services.
Savino Del Bene Miami Cruise Vertical was the first USA Logistics provider to be approved by the BIS office to deliver containers to the Havana Harbor ( via port Mariel) from a USA port ( PEV). Other solutions created by his team in recent years have been Fast Deployment Emergency Cargo from MIA airport, pick up to FPO Shipyard in less than 20 hours, FTZ services and Railroad services to our warehouse doors. Both solutions combined can provide higher operating cost savings.
John Paul is a 40 year cruise industry veteran. His career started as a 3rd engineer onboard of TSS Mardi Grass , TSS Carnival and TSS Festival. During his career he has held a number of positions, as Director Quality Assurance under MIL-Q-9858 and Director Purchasing & Logistics on the MHC-51 minehunter project, Director Purchasing & Logistics for Renaissance Cruise and Director sales for ABX Logistics and UTI Worldwide.
